A very beautiful synagogue, as you should really see. We received a very friendly welcome and were allowed to look around at our leisure. Well, Jewish life is part of our culture and our country, this should actually be normal. We were very happy that we were allowed to visit the synagogue and that they were so friendly and nice to us.

Interesting impressions that are only possible by courageously opening and presenting this synagogue. Those present will also be happy to explain the Jewish peculiarities that are not generally known.

Important and beautiful place in Worms. Of course, with a guided tour you will learn more! Unfortunately, there is a lot of renovation going on right now and it is not accessible. It's still worth stopping by.

I am very glad that we managed to enter this synagogue despite Saturday. The synagogue was built in the 11th century and extended in the 12th century. In the 13th century, a section for women was added. It survived until the memorable Kristallnacht in 1938, when it was destroyed. It was rebuilt after the war at the turn of the 1950s and 1960s. Free entrance, for men of course with a headgear.
